She is severely distraught when her husband gets custody of their two children due to the rigors of her job. When Baikman (Sean Patrick Flannery), one of her patients who has recently been released to a halfway house, catches word of her predicament, he decides to kill her husband with the intention of telling the authorities that he and Lila are lovers and that they planned the murder together. His story is so convincing that even Lila's police detective lover (Michael Biehn) begins to believe it. BORDERLINE is a well-acted neo-noir with solid turns from Gershon and Flannery. [More]
