Freddy (Maurice Compte) has had a difficult life. Abandoned by his parents and trying to deal with a pregnant girlfriend, Freddy sets off on a journey to make things right that takes him across the United States. Leaving Philadelphia, Freddy hops a freight train that he hopes will take him to his uncle in Indiana. Along the way, he meets Albert (Paddy Connor), another homeless teenager, who accompanies him throughout the rest of his journey. When Freddy finds that his uncle cannot help him, the pair set out for Oklahoma to look for Freddy's ex-convict father. What happens next sends them on a wild trip through the West -- from intruding on an Indian reservation to hitchhiking with a gorgeous nurse. In the end, the boys find that what they set out to find isn't what they needed the most. [More]
