One of the fundamental rules of documentary filmmaking is that directors should stick to a subject which they are knowledgeable of. So when heir to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical empire Jamie Johnson decided to try his luck in the genre, he pointed his camera in the direction of some privileged children who stand to inherit more than just a few bucks in the not-so distant future. Johnson manages to get some candid revelations from his chosen subjects, with heirs to the Trump, Bloomberg, and Vanderbilt fortunes all speaking frankly and honestly about money, family pressure, and their often extravagant lifestyles. The film originally aired on HBO, and was a huge hit at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival, suggesting that Johnson may have a very "rich" future ahead of him in the world of film! [More]
