Some baseball cards are valuable, but none other than that of Honus Wagner (Matthew Modine), issued the first year he stood on the mound. Known as "The Mona Lisa of Baseball Cards," a Honus Wagner is easily worth more than a million dollars. When a young boy (Shawn Hatosy) finds it, he reaps more than money; he takes a magical journey to the 1909 World Series and comes face to face with the legend. Co-stars Kristin Davis.

...this is essentially just a feel-good sports movie.
Cheap looking especially during the baseball moments. It was made for TV and it shows. The acting is below average and William Lee Scott's performance as a young Ty Cobb is pathetic and hammy. I love baseball and this is just a dissapointment.
