Old-School "Equalizer" Makes the Leap to the Multiplexes
Variety brings word that the late-80's TV series "The Equalizer" will soon be translated onto the silver screen. Producer Mace Neufeld ("Sahara," "Patriot Games"
has signed a deal with the show's original creators which should result in a big-screen "Equalizer" thriller. The ink's barely dry on this deal, so no news on cast, writers or director just yet ... but it's safe to assume that original "Equalizer" Edward Woodward will not be in the title role this time around.
