Gregoria (Maura) walks through life emotionally numb due to her abusive husband and oppressive religious dogma. But her life takes an abrupt turn after a housepainter tells her, with his dying breath, of a paradisiacal town he once lived in. However, things take another unusual turn as she begins to see things at the mansion, and comes to believe it haunted. Is her young charge in need of rescue, or have the disastrous events of her life finally unhinged her sanity completely? [More]
