Film constructed of wild coincidences. A throwback to stodgy liberal melodrama of the 1960s like "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner". Says zero about the social and economic realities of LA that breed racism.

You're right, it doesn't say anything about realities in L.A. that breed racism. It SCREAMS realities of AMERICA that breed racism. You sir have a mind like a steel trap.

For a negative comment about a great movie, there's a bit of truth in here. I feel the overall verisimilitude and impact makes it great and almost hides this, but . . . .
