Critic Review - Film and Felt

While it's hard not to admire Haggis' ambition here, his lofty aspirations sapped Crash of any real ingenuity or emotional punch.

Viewing great movies while taking meth is a horrible idea . . . .

Complete afterthought here, I know, but your review hurts my mind. Stop trying to cram so much in there. Itâ??s obvious you graduated from college, just donâ??t make it so painstakingly obvious. Thereâ??s something to be said about the free-flowing nature of art too, when it comes to any craft. Cursing, sadly enough, does not alleviate the pain either. And I like parenthesis and semicolons too. I just try and not let them make me seem smarter than I am.

Crash is not a 'great' movie. It needs to be said.

Crash is full of stereotypes and cliches. Its a joke of a movie, not a critic on society or racism.

PD: Please excuse my english.

people who think crash is great have no idea about subtlety. this film practically beats its message over our heads with a mallet. yes, there are some really good scenes in this film, but i think this movie manipulates more than it earns emotion. subtlety is cast aside in place for emotional manipulation. a complete contrast from the subtle, heart-wrenching brokeback mountain. a far superior film in every respect. and was robbed of top honors at the '05 oscars by this very film. the oscars are complete bullshit, completely subjective, politics before opinion
