Ishwar and Sumi both adore their only son, Aditya but with a difference. While Ishwar is totally blind to Adi's faults and indulges him, Sumi is well aware of his darling son's shortcomings and is always cautioning her husband not to spoil Adi so much. Land of the Lost is, despite its terrible acting, wooden production value, and hilariously bad special effects, rather quaintly silly and bizarrely entertaining.

I didn't like the third season of Land of the Lost as a kid, and I don't like it much now. Even when I was young, I thought the Marshall/Uncle Jack switcheroo was a crock. I felt like I'd been gipped into accepting a cheap imitation of the original father. And that's it. That's why the final season is sort of lame. The
