Only students of Greek mythology will appreciate Bonello's contempo version of Tiresia and even they may wonder what his point is.

a beautiful film - in fact more comparible to baroque art than any mainstream movies. we are presented with many conflicting aspects; most obviously the protagonist's gender changing from female to male without her hormones, another prominant contrast is the blindess of the main character agaisnt their second sight.
