The journeys of four groups of late teens/early twenty-somethings unfold through four different storylines, their separate trails converging at an explosive house party. Little Athens boasts the hottest ensemble of Generation-Y stars yet assembled in a single independent film, including John Patrick Amedori (The Butterfly Effect), Jorge Garcia (TV's Lost), Shawn Hatosy (Faith of My Fathers), Michelle Horn (Hostage), Tory Kittles (Get Rich or Die Tryin'), Erica Leerhsen (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Rachel Miner (Bully), Kenny Morrison (NeverEnding Story II), Leonardo Nam (The Perfect Score), Michael Pena (Crash), DJ Qualls (Hustle & Flow), Jill Ritchie (D.E.B.S.), and Eric Szmanda (TV's CSI). Little Athens also boasts a red hot soundtrack, which includes classics like Goodbye Stranger by Supertramp, and soon to be classics by today's most exciting new bands, including The Almighty Grind, Ashbury, Ben Kweller, The Bronx, Circus Minor, El Pus, Flipsyde, Ima Robot, Kill Radio, Marah, The Mean Reds, Ofer, The Paper Dolls, The Plebz, Poets & Pornstars, Rolling Blackouts, The Vacation, The Veils, The Walkmen, Whitestarr, and Zoe Bonham. In Little Athens first storyline, neurotic EMS worker Heather (Leerhsen) searches for love with the help of her best friend Allison (Miner). Convinced that her boyfriend Derek (Szmanda), a nonchalant cop with a voracious libido, is cheating on her, Heather chases the evidence, bringing Allison along for the psychotic ride. The chase leads the girls to the house party, where Heather will confront Derek with proof of his indiscretions. In the second storyline in Little Athens, Pizza-delivery-man/gym-assistant/small-time-drug-dealer Jimmy (Amedori) wants to escape the burden of his massive debt. When Jimmy gets fired from one of his jobs, his desperation approaches new bounds. He gets the "break" he is looking for when he finds his drug source dead, and plenty of quality drugs there for the taking. Unfortunately for Jimmy, Kwon (Nam), an associate of the drug source, considers Jimmy the number one suspect for the theft of the drugs. Jimmy must unload the drugs before getting caught, leading him to the house party, where he tries to resolve all of his problems in one massive deal. In Little Athens third storyline, Corey (Qualls) and Pedro (Garcia), recently evicted from their apartment, need rent money, and they need it fast. Making matters worse, Corey's fifteen year-old sister Emily (Horn) has just left home to avoid her abusive father. Out of options, Corey agrees to help Pedro use a stolen tow truck to sell a stolen car. The sale leads them to the house party, where the buyer awaits. In Little Athens fourth storyline, low-self-esteem Jessica (Ritchie), who still lives on her mom's couch, learns that her boyfriend Aaron (Morrison) wants to beat her senseless because he's convinced she cheated on him and gave him a loathsome STD in the process. Carlos (Pena), Jessica's weak-willed but well-meaning friend, is not-so-secretly infatuated with her and helps her as much as he can. When the situation turns ultra-violent, Jessica must turn to her ex-lover Carter (Hatosy), one of the tenants at the house where the party takes place, and the only person who may be willing to help her beat up Aaron. Once at the party, these young suburbanites confront their problems in spectacular fashion. --© Official Site [More]
