Along with insulting the Dalai Lama, he turns a blind eye to the bravery of the endangered Tibetan Pilgrims we meet. The filmmaker was shooting this on the fly to show an aspect of Tibet seldom seen. I feel he succeeded brilliantly. Nathan Lee describes "Black Snake Moan" as the most spiritual film he has ever seen. Enough said. (Reply to this) |
