1. Fred Claus - 21%

Twelve long months after it first debuted in theaters, Vince Vaughn's Fred Claus is finally making its way to DVD. The comedy about Santa's (Paul Giamatti) ne'er do well brother, Fred (Vaughn) disappointed critics and performed decently last November; by holding its home video release until the 2008 holiday season, will Fred Claus get a second chance at success?

Hard up for cash, the bitter, joyless Fred (Vaughn) joins his little brother, Nicholas -- that's Saint Nick -- in the North Pole to work alongside elves in the toy factory one Christmas. As his bad attitude wreaks havoc on Santa's workshop, a slimy efficiency expert (Kevin Spacey) arrives with a plan to shut Santa down for good. Can Fred rise to the occasion to help save Christmas?

The single-disc release includes a feature-length commentary by director David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) along with thirteen deleted scenes. The Blu-ray disc is much fuller, including the Race to Save Christmas DVD game, additional featurettes, Vince and Paul's Fireside Chats, a bit with cameo players (and "other" brothers) Frank Stallone, Stephen Baldwin, and Roger Clinton, and a music video by Ludacris, whose hip hop holiday track appears on the Fred Claus soundtrack ("Fred Claus, y'all").

HA! Please, I remember when Vince Vaughn was funny. Now he sucks. I think he's in a even lamer holiday film with the horrible Reese Witherspoon. I will NOT see "Fred Claus".

Despite mixed reviews, I think I'll see "Hancock". Does anyone know the difference in the theatrical and unrated versions? Or is it like the "Talladega Nights" uncut version, with essentially no differences.

I'm a huge "The Colbert Report" fan, and I saw the christmas special, and it was hilarious! "Can I Interest You In Hannukah" is the best song. (Potato pancake), but I don't think I'll buy it. I don't buy TV specials.

Don't watch "24", so no comment on his TV movie, or whatver it is.

Ick, "Space Chimps", an animated film so bad it makes "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" almost look good. (Almost.) If I haven't made it clear, I don't want to do anything with it except avoid it.

Ew, it must be "dumpy family summer movies week" for the DVD market. And what's worse, this is probaly much better than things like "Norbit" or "Pluto Nash". Fire Eddie Murphy please!

People say "Hey, you're a teen, so you like things like 90210." No, I don't. Not that I'm knocking it, it's just not my thing.

As I've mentioned, (not here) I'm a Frat Pack fan. And this is the first Fratty film. And Scorsese likes it so I'm sold, when I can see it.

No real interest in anything this week. Like the critics say, Hancock had an interesting idea but not done right. I loved the graphic novel and novelization of The Death of Superman. I'm not sure about Superman Doomsday. I'd have to rent it first.

Like Judd Apatow? I do. Hate high school? Still do. The n this is for me, and it has a young Seth Rogen, and Jen, I think James Franco makes an appearence. I'll definately see that.

We began with "Fred Claus", and end with "Superman Doomsday" which is appropriate. Beginning and ending, with a whimper. I'm a big Superman fan and know of his comic book death, and his animated show. I loved the 1990's Batman TV show, but I don't like the Superman 90's show. Or his death in the comics. So I'll definately avoid this. This might be a good time for me to bring up the reboot film, but I won't. I'll just go and read an old Superman comic, BEFORE he died. It was never the same.

Thanks Jen.

I'll get Freaks and Geeks, Vince Vaughn is not a leading man and can only play wing.

I already have freaks and geeks, and the special cover isn't going to cause me to buy it again.

I don't for some reason own Bottle Rockets yet, so I will definitely get that tomorrow.

Also not planning on getting it, but didn't Dylan's wife in 90210 get shot because she was driving Dylan's car and the shooter thought it was him. Wow it is sad that I know that.

Freaks and Geeks is the best high school show of all time in my opinion. Has Jason Segel, Seth Rogen, James Franco, and a few others who are in the current Apatow comedies. It's good stuff, and so is Undeclared, with virtually the same cast.

Watched Hancock the other night and was quite surprised. I actually enjoyed it a lot. I wish they would have gone all the way and made it the R rating it was originally written for. Damn Hollywood, should've known they'd want a bigger audience. The original script was a lot raunchier.

12 months later? Hah. No one cares about it anymore. Did anyone ever? I saw the tv spot or the dvd release and thought, Who the hell wants to buy this 12 months later.

Poor Paul Giamatti. Hes actually a really good actor.
