We've got an exclusive batch of stills from Blindness, about an entire city in which everyone is afflicted with inexplicable loss of sight -- everyone, that is, except for Julianne Moore. Check out more from this month's mystery-thriller, from the director of City of God and The Constant Gardener.
Brazilian filmmaker Fernando Meirelles (City of God, Constant Gardener) returns to his home town of Sao Paolo, Brazil with the English-language thriller based on Jose Saramago's novel of the same name. Blindness stars Julianne Moore as "Doctor's Wife," the only person in the entire city unaffected by a widespread epidemic of "white blindness." Mark Ruffalo, Danny Glover, and Gael Garcia Bernal co-star.
Check out two exclusive stills below (click images for more from the Blindness gallery).

HyperionChild writes: on Sep 03 2008 04:25 AM With the kind of pedigree behind the cameras and the script in this movie, it has got to be a whole lot better than the travesty that was "The Forgotten". Man, that movie was bad! Great concept...lousy execution. Here's hoping that "Blindness" marks the start of Julianne Moore getting better movies. (Reply to this) |

Matanuki writes: on Sep 03 2008 06:46 PM In reply to this comment (#2015816) LOL. Props where props are due, Dachshund. Indeed, since when the hell has Paris Hilton ever been beautiful? However wordweaver does make a sound point; a woman's looks are no more relevant to her acting ability than a man's. And -lol- though your comment does inspire a chuckle, I think you're exaggerating just a little bit about Moore. (Reply to this) |

tomwaitsjr writes: on Sep 07 2008 11:06 AM Julianne Moore is still good looking. The first time I saw her was her small role in "Benny and Joon" and I absolutely fell in love. She does a great job of playing highly intelligent yet flawed characters. (Reply to this) |
