This is one of the most accurate reviews I've ever read - don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the film, but I know exactly what she means by this statement; you're made to believe that, if you don't enjoy this movie, you're the only one that doesn't understand the surrealism at work. Gilliam is a genius, yes, but in his own, strange way - there's no way audiences understand everything he does, and the amount of critics and people that claim they do are simply lying.
