I didn’t feel like I was watching characters who were related to each other. Every scene they are in, I felt like I was watching movie stars meeting each other for the first time.

Top CriticMore critics hated Everybody's Fine than loved it, by a long shot. They called it sappy, cliché and trite. Maybe their families alienated them after years of spoiling the ending to movies, and now they're taking it out on the rest of us.
