The film gets bogged down by plot points that plod toward an event of devastating proportions.

Robert Pattinson was a revelation in this movie. There's something so touching about him. I had no idea he could look like that or act like that. It was sad but I loved it. I highly recommend it.

This movie was incredible. Rob was amazing as was the whole cast and the writer.
It will be remembered as profound and wonderful.

Compared to the majority of the drab Hollywood drivel out there, this movie has substance. I was actually entertained the whole way through and did press delete half way in, where so many movies have ended up of late. This tale is not a la la skippy feel-good the world is wonderful and the American dream is everyone's happy ending kind of movie. If you have not lived a totally sheltered life, you will probably relate to these characters. But if you don't like movies that make you cry, be forewarned...I shed some tears in this one. I like movies that imitate life...in all its facets. This one shines.
