Has a strong visual style but a horrible story.
Anyone familiar with the myth of Sisyphus will have little trouble with this imaginative film. The confusion among many reviewers is a clear sign of the rampant illiteracy of our times.

And even for those, it's explained within the movie. Saying the story is horrible has got to be the most revealing failure of a critic in a long time...

Im sorry but you two above me are idiots. He did not say the story was hard to understand or it was confusing. He said it was horrible. Which has nothing to do with understanding whether or not it originates from a Greek myth. You can base your story off of fucking Oedipus Rex and you can still have a horrible story.

Except that the movie's story ISN'T horrible. You fail.

Horrible story? Rather strong language for what I and many others felt to be a very engaging story, complete with a good number of "WTF?!" moments. Sure we figure out the essentials early on, but it's still fun watching it unfold. Reviewers lose credibility with shoot-from-the-hip comments like this.

I was very surprised by this movie...I found it quite brilliant and novel!
I strongly suspect anyone who expresses dislike for it, really didn't watch it closely or allow themselves to engage with it... they were probably busy texting their friends or playing 'mystery science theater 3000' with it.
a creepy, horrifying and fantastic film - WELL WORTH paying attention to... I for one, loved it!

Horrible story? It's showcasing a mothers love for her child. That's why she keeps re-entering this paradox, to try and save her son.
