Well made but hopelessly dull...
A deeply weird stab at a sort of humanistic erotic thriller whose interesting themes are sabotaged by two woefully miscast leads...
From the start, none of the characters you are presented with have likable qualities, so it's extremely hard to care when any fail, or don't get what they want

*Sigh*. It wasn't a bad movie. But.... it just made no sense. Paz Vega (the rich man's Penelope Cruz) plays some strange chick who's just, f*cking STRANGE. She gets involved with some dude who has serious anger issues and likes to smack people around. Jada plays violent dude's sister. Her role is completely insignificant, as though she simply wanted to remind us that at one point she thought she could act.
And that's it.... The movie is very sexy and has good cimenatography, but I was left thinking "What the hell?!?" In truth, it was a well-executed waste of time. Methinks that Jada Pinkett-Smith needs to get a new hobby other than being Will's wife. And not 'Wicked Wisdom', her rock group. She sucks at that too.
