i really don't think Mr. Orr would agree with that at all. I don't know how they handle things in the south, but what, now the kid wasn't blessed for meeting that family? of course he was... It gave him the opportunity to show his greatness on the field. Not all Blacks need whites or vice versa. No one meant it in a derogatory way, but of course, some may take it that way....
You make it seems as if racism is a non-existence in today society. The fact that it was based on a true story makes the implicit racism a true tragic and even if it was hollywood twisted it makes it worse that film makers still believe that we need racial undertones to sell a movie in today's society makes it even worse.
I agree wholeheartedly. This movie is fucking terrible. When Sandra Bullock's character claimed that Michael was "Changing her life" I cringed. Then when I realized he had only been living with them for like 2 days I began having a violent seizure due to the corniness of the script
