It's too corny to live. But the picture is a slam dunk. I mean a ground-and-pound double-leg takedown. It's really gripping.

Is that a typo? Should it say "love," not "live"?

I'm trying to understand the sentence with "live" in it, and it's not making much sense.

It makes perfect sense with 'live'.
Is English not your native language?
It's basically saying too corny to exist, to warrant its creation.
