The first half of the film is great! However, it's my opinion that from the new york bus scene, there's a huge unfilled gap that picks up at the tail end. Question? What happened to the president who happens to be the sole witness to Winter's true identity? Did the FBI, CIA agents give up on Salt at the forest yet they were in a chopper? I think Salt should have either been captured in a sequel, or the president comes to and vindicates Salt as he testifies on Winter's latest acts, frees her and even promotes her. That would have quenched the thirst to the question; who is Salt? amicably albeit not totally as she knows herself.
