Its weird---I even like all her so called "bad" movies. Gone in 60 seconds, Tomb Raider, Wanted---they're a good time. Are they cinematic masterpieces? NO. But its a fun ride. And I appreciate that she's the only woman who hasn't succomb to romantic comedies. She gets extra points for that.

Changeling was a great, if disturbing, film. And she was great in it.

I also thought Taking Lives was grossly underappreciated.

Shes a whore. sorry but its true, maybe shes refined NOW, but it doesnt change the fact that she was a man stealing whore. She did to to Laura Dern with Bob thornton, did it again to Aniston with Pitt. I dont hate her or like her, but shes not something special in my book

In terms of Jolie, she is a decent actress (unlike the monstrosity that is Megan Fox). It's very interesting that her generally good (to even excellent performances) seem to be wrapped around sub-par movies. Her only academy award coming from a movie with a 54% tells something.

I don't think that her fairly poor RT meter reflects bad on her personally, but just that the people who work with her in these movies do a poor job of using her talents such as a bad script (with her newest movie Salt being a typical example of this).

Jolie is a much better actress than her RT film ratings make her out to be. Eqully adept at both action and drama, plus she does manage to supply a little wry humor into many of her performances as well. Her humanitarian efforts greatly outweigh both the fetishism of the tabloids and her occasional cinematic misfires, IMO. Looking forward to this weekend, and Angelina's latest thriller.

Girl, Interrupted....Gia...a Mighty Heart...Changeling....Playing By Heart...

All of these movies showcase Angelina's acting ability--which, if any of you jerks would actually see those movies, you would see that Jolie is a wonderful, truthful, emotional, compelling actress. She's been in a lot of crappy movies (like any actor, seriously), but she's also been in a lot of good movies, and even ones that weren't given much critical acclaim (like Girl, Interrupted) all note that her acting was a bright spot in the films.
