"How can a killer set up all those traps in a matter of hours?" Um... I don't know. Maybe because it's a MOVIE. I think a MOVIE REVIEWER should know that better then anyone.
I'm seeing this tomorrow so maybe I shouldn't comment until I've seen it but from what I have seen/read this is going to be far from the worst movie of 2009. Since all the horror sites are giving this 4 and 5 stars I have a feeling this is just a case of you have a problem with this genre. Way to do your job dude....

Just because it's a MOVIE doesn't mean it shouldn't have common sense (which is something today's public doesn't consist of)This doesn't having anything to do with someone liking or not liking the genre.
Now, I haven't seen "The Collector" & I don't know all the details because I haven't seen the film but does Smithey mean by hours like 6-7 hours or does he mean 1-2 hours? there is a difference because on one hand it can be logical & the other hand it can be illogical.

Because something is a work of fiction does not mean it has carte blanch to throw logic out the window and expect the audience to swallow all of the incredibly dumb and contrived peices of the plot. Do everyone a favor and STFU until you've actually seen the movie. Then again I'm guessing you still wouldn't have much to say.
