Audience Reviews for The Keeper

I wasn't expecting much, considering some of Seagal's more recent output. However, I was surprised. The plot manages to move along at a nice pace and doesn't really ever get bogged down. Some things I liked were that the fight scenes were well edited and showed more. Unlike previous outings where all it showed was a leg or a fist hitting a baddie where this time around you actually saw Seagal or Seagal's hairpiece doing the action. Now this isn't Shakespeare. It most deffinately has it's downsides. Most of the supporting roles weren't well casted, and certainly not well-acted. has just enough action and one-liners to satisfy fans, and better production values than most of his other direct to video projects. It's by far perfect but it puts Seagal back in the right direction.

Entertaining in its way; I kept debating with myself whether the acting or the script was worse. Okay, bad timing. I just saw a Woody Allen., but that's personal preference. I didn't even think this stood up well next to other Steven Seagal pictures. So, in my opinion, avoid it.
