Run Robot Run! should reassure viewers that they need not fear the new mechanical beings who will soon be part of their lives. They're better off watching out for the co-workers they have right now.
A tight script, smart casting and sharp direction prevail over modest production values in Run Robot Run!, a sci-fi spoof of corporate culture.
Aside from the great look at a possible future yet to be, it's also a bliss of comic feeling and occasional romantic bursts. Guys, if you're desperate for a rom-com you can actually stomach, go get Run Robot Run!
Pleasant.
Turns out you can make a robo-comedy today, if you know what you're doing.

The film loses steam as Kent desperately tries to find a way to sabotage the android to get him out of the picture, which boils down to the notion that only humans are truly creative. After that, there's an agonizingly long section where the android teaches Kent how to loosen up and become more human, which didn't provide any laughs at all. I did watch all of its 1 hour and 22 minute running time, which was long enough for the director to end it with a textbook movie cliche. Bad director, bad!
