The Alice books gained fame for being totally unconventional, and you decide to make a totally conventional movie out of them?
Quit comparing it to the freaking book.. get over yourself.

Jeffrey Chen didn't write the book, Skydog. What will getting over himself do?When a movie says to by based of a book. What do you do you? who compare it to that book. This movie most likely ruined it for thousand of pontential fans for Burton, Modern Disney, and esp. The amazingly before-its-time novel. Why? Because Disney still feels the need to unsuccessfully prove how cool their father was and shamelessly make more money than they need.

I thought it was a poor adaptation. I think for the books sake it'll be better to put aside Burton.

if you read the book then you would know that is is a really freaking book and it was made to teach kids lessons..and this movie is a very good example of the book..and you have to remember that it is also the 2nd movie to the 1st one
