Critic Review - Globe and Mail

Shiver-making moments aside, in a important way 127 Hours suffers from the filmmaker's lack of nerve, a reluctance to let the audience taste Ralston's dread and the expectation of a slow, absurd death.

I think I speak for everyone when I say.. "K." Your review was plot summary yet almost seemed intelligent until you whipped out the one liner above, idiotic and contradictory to the rest of the review, yet clever. How's that working out for you, being clever?

His review of the review wasn't plot summary.

The intellect of this review almost surpasses me, "in a important way".

He could have said "in an good way" if you prefer that instead. :P

Um...he (Ralson) actually _did_ smile. Granted, we didn't see the full 40 minutes that the real surgery required, but the man was quite adamant that the smile be included in the film. Maybe you blinked.

You mst not have seen the same movie that I did. I felt every bit of agony and desperation that was conveyed in this film in a way that I've never experienced while watching a movie. James Franco's performance was nothing short of incredible and Danny Boyle is nothing less than a genius.

I happened to just re-watch this movie today and I truly have made it a strong point to never, ever, comment on websites such as this, but you have brought me out of my shell. I read this tagline and said no wait, he couldn't have just said that. But after dumbing myself down to read the entirety of what you wrote, I ask you one thing. Don't you know that you never go full retard? I don't even have the ability to form sentences to truly insult your intelligence for this review because I think you've done that more than well enough yourself. So cheers to you sir.
