Season one hasn't even aired yet, but AMC has already picked up the second season of Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad spin-off starring Bob Odenkirk. Also this week, Cartoon Network revives Powerpuff Girls, Heroes brings back HRG, Boardwalk Empire skips to 1931, and Game of Thrones travels to Dorne.

AMC Orders Season Two of Better Call Saul; Delays Season One

Well, there's good news and there's bad news. If you're excited about Better Call Saul, Vince Gilligan's Breaking Bad spin-off about America's favorite slimy lawyer, you'll be happy to know that a season two is already in the works. Thursday, AMC announced that it has ordered 13 more episodes of Better Call Saul, before the first of season one's ten episodes has even aired. Unfortunately, AMC is also delaying the premiere of season one. They have yet to reveal the new schedule, but said that Better Call Saul will accompany The Walking Dead and Talking Dead in the next two years. Great... another show to watch on Sunday night!

A Powerpuff Girls Reboot Is on the Horizon

Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup are coming back to the small screen. Cartoon Network will reboot the super-Kindergartners to fight more crime in 2016, when Powerpuff Girls returns as a TV series. "As the original ambassador of 'girl power,' The Powerpuff Girls brand continues to resonate with people of all ages and there is tremendous excitement around introducing Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup to a new generation," Pete Yoder, a VP at Cartoon Network, said in a release on Monday. The award-winning series, which ran for 78 episodes between 1998 and 2005, returned with a special in January.

Season Five of Boardwalk Empire Will Skip Ahead Seven Years

When it returns for its fifth and final season this fall, HBO's Boardwalk Empire will skip ahead seven years to find its characters living in 1931, according to Den of Geek this week. "The storyline has jumped seven years, which is why I have the beard now," said Michael K. Williams, who plays Chalky White. "The Depression has set in. The days of the shiny shoes and fancy suits are long gone." And if history is any indication, 1931 might prove to be even more difficult for some of Boardwalk's characters than 1924 was.

Noah Bennett aka HRG Will Be in Heroes Reborn

NBC will be bringing back Heroes this fall in the form of a limited series, and with it, the character of Noah Bennett, played by Jack Coleman. This week, Deadline.com reported that Coleman has signed on for the 13-episode miniseries Heroes Reborn, reprising his role as the Man in the Horn-Rimmed Glasses. Still no confirmation on other main-character casting yet, though NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt said at last month's upfront that "some of the familiar faces from the show are bound to drop in."

Game of Thrones is heading to Dorne; The Queen is heading to Game of Thrones

Watch out, Cersei! There's a new queen in town. By way of its Twitter account, the British Monarchy announced that Queen Elizabeth II will visit the set of Game of Thrones during her trip to Northern Ireland from June 23 to June 25. Some of the Seven Kingdoms' most dramatic backdrops are shot in Northern Ireland, including The Wall and scenes from the Eyrie. In other Game of Thrones news, showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss confirmed that they are shooting in Spain as the setting of Dorne, the homeland of Prince Oberyn Martell. So, yes, there will be Dorne, but, no, it's doubtful that Her Majesty will see it in person.
