This week's best pictures, posters, and video!

Happy Friday Harvest, a weekly round-up of the best pictures, posters, and videos that have become available for viewing/download on Rotten Tomatoes. Each section features the favorite or most interesting item we've added for the week, along with several other new highlights. Enjoy!

Pictures

Picture Gallery of the Week: Despicable Me

There's potential with Despicable Me, even if I'm not super thrilled with hearing Steve Carrell in another lead animated role. The trailer is showing off some great punchy physics and sight gags. You almost wish they had gone the Spy vs. Spy and cut out dialogue all together. Browse the gallery.

Poster of the Week: From Paris With Love

With each successive movie, Pierre Morel is attracting more financing and bigger names. His third, From Paris With Love (after District B13 and Taken), will show what he can really do with a big budget and in familiar geography. Hopefully, this one also puts him back in R-movie territory. View the poster.

Video of the Week: 2012 clip

A lot of good videos were released this week (see below) that could've made Video of the Week, but only one has a hippie-haired Woody Harrelson saying the line, "Why don't you download my blog?" Watch the video.

Im kinda let down on how Clash of the titans turned out. Looks too campy. But still too early to judge.

cant wait for Kick-Butt (ha?) I hope this bloodless trailer doesn't go over people's heads. The comic con footage was a gory good time. Not even Nic Cage can ruin this movie for me.

Yeah, I'll second the "Titans looks AWESOME" sentiment. Very cool trailer, looking forward to this in a big way.

Lol its kind of funny that some have said that Clash of the Titans 'looks' over the top. Just wondering isn't most (if not all) of Greek & Roman mythology and especially the trials of Hercules and Jason and the Argonauts a little bit over the top in general? Still awesome stuff though, you cant help but love how cool & elaborate the characters & stories are.

With Red "McLovin" Mist in the fold, it seems that Kick-Gluets I wonder if the sequel will feature dual villains named Grabass and Wipeass.

With Red "McLovin" Mist in the fold, it seems that Kick-Gluets is poised to be the Superbad of superhero flicks. I wonder if the sequel will feature dual villains named Grabass and Wipeass.

EDIT: Yay no edit function. Way to revamp the site, mods.

I have this feeling that 2010 is going to be the year of some very interesting and "cant wait to see" movies. well Kick-A$$ appears to render its name and Clash of the titans.. seems really what i was hoping for.. (MARVELOUS. i still think they should do god of war...

your right about what you said but what im meaning is it looks way too cheesy, it reminds me of one of the Mummy movies.

I see what you mean. Hopefully the effects will look a lot better by the time it gets released and they make the monsters / CGI characters look a bit more realistic. I havent really kept track of the development of Clash of the Titans, so I am not really sure what kind of direction they were going in. Dont know whether they wanted to have a more serious take on the mythology or go slightly towards the campy nature that The Mummy movies had like you pointed out.

The Clash of the Titans trailer looked amazing, i can kinda see where cgi could improve but the rest was awesome. It doesnt look campy or cheesy or anything like that. My first thought was LOTR meets 300, that doesnt sound like a let down at all. Im not expecting a deep movie like gladiator or anything though so maybe thats why it looked very awesome to me.
