The show does what it's supposed to do... "entertain". That's all it can do. Don't rely on any TV show or movie to be 100% realistic. It's all make-believe of course. The part I had trouble with... all the dumb female characters. The writers of this show are a.holes. Of the 22 or so writers, only two were women

24 Season One Review The first season suffers from what most origin stories suffer from, which is that they focus too much on the unnecessary elements such as the Palmer's father issues or the Bauers for that matter.
