Anthony (WELCOME BACK, KOTTER; COOLEY HIGH) is a successful black movie agent on his way to a wedding in Las Vegas. Speeding down the highway through the Nevada desert, he encounters a stranded white drifter, Ernie (Rusty Gray), and stops to give him a lift. The two men hit it off easily and soon let their guards down, but as each begins revealing the details of his past, the other recognizes the secrets his companion hides. As the pair hurtle through the night, their amiability turns into enmity, and ultimately they realize how much can change in just 30 miles. Harper's dark journey uses the latest technology to achieve the look of film using HD video, making use of revolutionary techniques to create a tense, raw look at two men's descent into a nightmare of murder and betrayal.
