I enjoyed the first season of the 4400. At times the writing is a bit unoriginal and suspect, but the overall mythology has started out well. I look forward to season 2 which will make or break this series.

A rather brilliant little show with many interesting storylines and episode plots, and a larger narrative that appears to be headed in a definite direction. Not only did I really enjoy the first season, I've heard it just gets better from there. There's a lot of solid acting going on by most of the cast members, with
