The disc includes a short film called Blood for the Muse - which is far better than the feature.

Audience Reviews for Satan's School For Lust

Fell alseep on this movie twice, which should be a clue to how utterly boring I found "Satan's School For Lust". As a horror movie, it fails miserably, and as a soft-core movie, it's about as erotic as watching paint dry. Meh.

I originally posted this review on 12/11, but I got a message from a reader who took offense at my pan of this film. Apparently, Misty Mundae has a legion of devoted fans. The general gist of the message was that I shouldn't post a negative review of a movie that I admittedly didn't even see in its entirety.

Well, I think that BECAUSE I couldn't stand watching the whole thing without skipping parts, I should warn horror-loving smut-seekers away from it. But, in the interest of fairness, I'm adding this little note to remind y'all that if you click on the linked movie title near the top of the reviews, you'll be taken to the entry at "Rotten Tomatoes" where there are usually other reviews to be read.

By the way, I appreciate any comments any of you offer. It's nice to know that I am inspiring reactions.

Satan's School for Lust
Starring: Misty Mundae and Darian Caine
Director: Terry West

A young teen (Mundae) is sent by her rich, always-traveling father, to a boarding prep school for girls. Here, she discovers that what the students are being prepped for is a life of demonworship and lesbian bondage games!

I was challenged to watch and review this film. It is a challenge that, I am sad to say, I lost. It was so bad that I couldn't even bear to watch it, but instead made liberal use of the fast-scan button on my remote. I've sat through some pretty bad films, but even I couldn't stand this one. The awfulness of the acting is only exceeding by the rancidness of the dialogue. Further, as Joe-Bob Briggs used to say, there is virtually no plot to get in the way of the story.

"Satan's School for Lust" starts out like a Z-grade, super-lowbudget slasherflick, but it immediately veers into lame softcore demon-worshinping lesbian bondage porn territory.

The ONLY interesting thing about the flick is a recurring nightmare that Misty Mundae's character has, an erotic nightmare involving a cruxifix and a bucket of blood that indicates that she is the chosen concubine of the demon at the school (Caine). Everything else is too dull to stand. (And here is where I'll have to start doubting my sex-drive, because guys are supposed to love ANY and ALL lesbian action, right?)

It's a toss-up which is worse--this film or "Lust for Dracula." While I was actually able to sit through "Lust" because of some interesting visuals, "Satan's School" had more of a plot (stupid as it may have been). In any case, I can't recommend either film to anyone, except maybe obssessive-compulsive fans of Mundae or Caine who must see every movie they are in.

On a different note, there's a second film on the version of the DVD I was given titled "Blood for the Muse." Maybe, I'll delay tossing "Satan's School for Lust" in the trash to see if that second film is better. (If anyone can warn me off, please feel free to do so.)
