Movie Info

Julia (Faye Dunaway) is a wealthy American who travels to Venice. She telephones Valerion (Marcello Mastoianni), a local man she has met in passing earlier. He invites her to a villa where they spend the night making love. The couple heats up their romance in the Italian Alps when the owner of the house throws an erotic party complete with orgies in every room. Julia is visited by a friend who reveals she must be hospitalized if she has any chance to survive. She is torn between going for prolonged treatment with no guarantees of a cure or living out her remaining days with her lover. This romantic drama is plagued by having five different screenwriters working for one final script.more

Overheated dramatics in absolutely breathtaking locations. Faye is ravishing and clothed in the height of 60's fashion.
