"Typically inscrutable?" Maybe he has the brothers confused with David Lynch?

The Coen Brothers did NOT make Eraserhead and Blue Velvet, Mr. Nusair.

BLUE VELVET isn't unscrutable. At all.

The narrative is primitive to the point of nihilism and the symbolism and characters are as hopelessly vague as ever...not that this even matters.

The point is, The Coen Brothers' movies have never been inscrutable.

More to the point, a typically brilliant piece of film making from the Coen Brothers.
