Movie Info

Although set during World War II, this feature is more of a tragic romantic drama than a war story. Saul Scorby (Gabriel Byrne) is the British sergeant who finds solace from the war in a farmhouse in Normandy. The beautiful Belle (Marianne Balser) is the lone occupant and is accused of being in cahoots with the Nazis.
