Reviews for The Accidental Tourist
Hurt is the virtuoso, rising above the Lawrence Kasdan histrionics and some loose acting.
Kasdan's film lacks the spirit of Tyler's novel; he seems to be the wrong director to translate the author's affectionate and humorous treatment of the characters. Fortunately, Geena Davis as the eccentric dog-walker elevates the otherwise morose mood.
A romantic comedy that offers an engaging look at the many meanings of love and change in the lives of a travel guidebook writer and a dog trainer.
A genuinely beautiful and human story out of the Hollywood mills. Subtly amazing work from all concerned.
This is a warm movie told in the temperature of almost-recognizable life; it's a believable love story, joked up a bit but not too much.
'O Turista Acidental' não é empolgante, não tem cenas marcantes e não nos apresenta personagens particularmente carismáticos. E, no entanto, é um filme muito bom.
Literate and engaging, loaded with great actors, and (surprisingly) also rather funny.
