Critic Review - Boston Phoenix

This G-rated Disney documentary about two wild feline "families" plays like Saw for six-year-olds.

Alicia - I am sorry you missed the point of the film. What the director meant to capture was the real-life stories of a pride of lions and a single cheetah mama rearing her cubs. You see Alicia - in the animal kingdom, lions and cheetahs eat other animals to survive. It's strange that you would expect a dinner table sit down between the animals and their prey. You also fail to recognize that the food you're likely feeding your G-rated children consists of food that has been massacred in a slaughterhouse that is 25 times more violent.
