B. R. Chopra directs this crime thriller about a pair of twins separated at birth. While Ratan (Ashok Kumar) is raised in an institution and eventually becomes a noted barrister, Chaman (Kumar again) gets adopted into a rich family and becomes a dissolute playboy.
