Eli Roth, the director of Hostel and baseball-bat wielding Donny Donowitz of Inglorious Basterds, is now producing and starring in a film by Nicolás López. Aftershock is a movie that will make you think twice about taking a vacation, or even leaving your house.

not a fan or torture porn seen in Hostel . . . horrible things happening to people just for the sake of happening to them . . . BUT . . . he's an accomplished, knowledgeable filmmaker (maybe if he could look at some of the 13 THOUSAND different slides I've uploaded here on Rotten Tomatoes and made a movie about them we'd be in business --- 79 THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FORTY-NINE people have tuned in to my shows so far . . . I must be making some kind of an impact somewhere in the world.

HORROR should be more than horrible things happening to people and us (the audience) sitting there in the dark watching people suffer -- my slides should reflect what HORROR is to me. There's a certain rhythm the slides have that HORROR movies should have as well, in my opinion.

Not a fan, Roth is one of those guys who just annoys me in everything they do. Even in Inglourious he ground on my nerves.
