The mission of this arm of the CIA is to combat SD-6, a secret terrorist organization whose agents believe that they, in fact, work for a secret organization of the CIA that combats terrorism. This second season of the series introduces a host of new plot twists including a new romance for Sydney and the appearance of a woman who may be Sydney's mother. Quite possibly the most entertaining network television show of the last decade, ALIAS is a fast paced thrill ride buoyed by Ms. Garner's performance as well as her penchant for wearing some outrageously risque disguises on her missions. DISC FIVE Episode 17: "A Dark Turn" -- As Sydney learns that Vaughn is under investigation for being a double agent, Jack and Irina forge an unlikely partnership in their attempt to get their daughter out of the CIA for good. Episode 18: "Truth Takes Time" -- Dealing with the fallout of her mother's betrayal, Sydney prepares herself physically and mentally for their next meeting -¿ promising that if she gets another shot at Irina, she won't hesitate. Episode 19: "Endgame" -- When the CIA intercepts a secret message, Sydney discovers that the life of Neil Caplan may be in danger from the most unlikely source. Episode 20: "Countdown" -- As Dixon struggles with the death of his wife, he refuses to take time off from work until Sloane is brought to justice.
