Writer-director-producer Jody Podolsky maneuvers a complex tangle of self-identity, family responsibility, and societal expectations in her indie debut feature ALL OF IT. Amy Holbeck (Alanna Ubach) is a twentysomething New York editor returning to her Midwestern hometown for the Jewish holidays, sparking an immediate conflict with her domineering mother Glenda (Lesley Ann Warren), who pressures her daughter to settle down into marriage and respectability. But Amy's disdain soon morphs into compassion as she realizes Glenda's profound unhappiness with her own troubled marriage and unfulfilled existence, prompting a soul-searching odyssey of self-discovery for both mother and daughter.
