Mrs. Hoffs should not make jokes about film making.
Hard to say what this is really, except maybe an inadvertent documentary on child abuse.
A perfectly dreadful film whose chief selling point is that it's the first starring role for Bangles lead singer Susanna Hoffs and that the director is none other than Mom, Tamar Simon Hoffs.
I had a HUGE crush on Susanna Hoffs when this came out, and I still ended up hating the movie.
Tacky 80's cheese directed by the leading lady's own mother.
A predictable story, boring characters, and it's not all that exciting or funny either. I didn't care for this movie, and I do not recommend it.

"The Allnighter" really is a great film from 1987, a great look on the lives of four friends about to graduate from college and getting ready for the real world.
