Stiller & Coogan to Become DreamWorks' "Persuaders"
Ben Stiller ("Along Came Polly") and Steve Coogan ("Coffee and Cigarettes") will co-star in DreamWorks "The Persuaders," says Variety. Based on the fondly remembered BBC series from the early 1970s, "The Persuaders" focuses on the swingin' adventures of two multi-millionaire playboys.
Stiller will step into the role originated by Tony Curtis, while Coogan takes the Roger Moore part. The actors met while working on Sofia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette," and the concept for the project sprung from their "mutual chemistry."
