Audience Reviews for The Amazing Howard Hughes

A fantastic little known biopic (Made for TV I think), it?s much better than The Aviator in my opinion and is very underrated. Recommended!

Howard Hughes is deserving of a quality biopic, and this one at least presents clearer observations than "The Aviator." Most notable is Jones's physical transformation, through both performance and make-up. The tone of the filmmaking appropriately compliments the period as well. What brings it down most is the editing - Hughes was so eccentric it's hard to decide what must be left in and what can be omitted.
