When a deal in Kiev goes bad for American mobsters Gino (Danny Nucci) and Settimo (Dan Hedaya), they make their way to Glasgow to seek shelter from the fallout in the home of cousin Bobby (Gerald Lepkowski). A quirky crowd-pleaser that builds off of the strength of strong characters to draw its audience in.
Solid crime drama with comedy touches. Fine performances, especially Shirley Henderson, who always seems to give wonderful and warm performances. Not too heavy, good concept.
