Two of the lines you attribute to "Public Enemy" ("What will YOU do about it?" and "I can't hear you, can you speak-a up?") come from the 1932 version of "Scarface." (For the record, there are no machine guns in "Public Enemy," or "Little Caesar" either. The first major gangster film to feature machine guns was "Scarface.") (Reply to this) |
