Joel Schumacher Lost in "Lost Boys" Sequel
Fans of '80s movies, cool vampire horror or The Coreys Haim and Feldman have all awaited the possibility of a "Lost Boys 2." But the idea that Warner Brothers might produce it for the straight to DVD market is disheartening. Even the film's director, Joel Schumacher, can't ensure the classic gets a proper theatrical sequel.

Comedy director Chris Weitz has signed on to helm "The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists" for Columbia Pictures, a project based on a popular New York Times article from 2004. Said article was also stretched into a book, both of which will be used for the flick's source material.

Trailer Bulletin: American Dreamz
From Paul Weitz, the director of "American Pie," "About a Boy," and "In Good Company," comes the slick-looking satire known as "American Dreamz," which seems to star Dennis Quaid as George Bush, Hugh Grant as Simon Cowell, and Mandy Moore as Kelly Clarkson. "Greenlight" Guru to Take on a "Devil" of a Remake
Fans of "Project Greenlight" are certainly familiar with producer Chris Moore ("American Pie"), and now they'll get a dose of more Moore from behind the director's chair. Chris will make his directorial debut on "Race with the Devil," which will be a remake of the 1975 horror flick of the same name. For those perhaps unfamiliar with the original "Race," Reuters sums it up nicely: "center(s) on two couples who head off to Colorado for skiing and dirt biking. Along the way, they witness a satanic sacrifice, but when they call the local authorities, all evidence disappears. They resume their vacation but find themselves shadowed by a cult."
