Critic Review - Antagony & Ecstasy

You could strip every last marginally political idea from the movie, and it would still probably be one of the most grueling, unfunny things released that year.

Antagony & Ecstasy

Ausautas V.

Ausautas V.

I thought the Cuba opening was very clever and funny. Also, some of the Al-Qaeda stuff (training film, everyone was named Muhammad) was pretty good. If it had maintained that level, would have been pretty funny.

But seemed like every 3 minutes was a "Michael Moore is fat" or a Moore running into a wall gag. I can't imagine any semi-intelligent person being entertained by 90 minutes of a fat guy falling down.

It was no "Airplane". Not even close.

Watch "Team America". It's fair and balanced!
